Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk. This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.
Myth #2 – Introverts are shy. Shyness has nothing to…
Today we hear a lot about the value of networking. An act which allows us to connect with hitherto unknown people with the promise, that some of those meetings would turn to relationships that could favour our business, our personal needs , dreams, desires and ambitions.
After a long time, read something that forced me to read it so unhurriedly. Felt so nice. Loved this “It was beautiful, joy-filled. Irishman that I am, I wept all the way through. Oh, well. I’ve come to believe that a good cry is like a carwash for the soul.”
A couple of months back, I participated in a workshop by Annie Cariapa on “Family Constellation”. It suddenly opened a new dimension far beyond knowledge and things that I know of. If it was a theory, I could have explained. But it was an experiential journey into a world, I did not know, existed. If anybody thinks I am rambling esoteric stuff, then yes, I am guilty. All I can say is that you need to be part of the workshop to “get” what I am saying. And I can vouchsafe, what you would “get” would be mind altering, refreshing and healing. Would readily recommend the “Family Constellation” workshop to anyone with an open mind. It is not religion, mumbo-jumbo, spiritual, banal self-help. It will be Rs. 4000 well spent. To know more, do visit the website www.spanda.asia and mark your calendars for the next dates.
Now so much for the background. Would like to promote another workshop by Annie on “Healing the Inner child”.
To quote" We live life reacting to the wounds that we suffered in early childhood – and the defense mechanisms we had adapted because of those emotional wounds. Unhealthy or dysfunctional programming is sub conscious and passed down generation to generation. Living life in reaction to old wounds and old tapes is dysfunctional – it reinforces harmful core beliefs or perspectives, and behavior patterns.
Our broken hearts, our emotional wounds and our scrambled minds causes us to abandon ourselves. The one who betrayed us and abandoned and abused us the most was ourselves. We do things to harm ourselves with anger and shame.
Our inner child, as it finds self expression, is the gateway to our Higher Self. Loving and honouring the Child that we once were is the only way to love and honour ourselves today.
In this workshop you can learn to heal yourself by looking at new perspectives that will take you in the direction of wholeness, integration and freedom. By really listening to your inner voice with understanding and love.
Make way for living in the Power of Now, flowing with your emotions and your love.“
PS: While I have huge interest in the workshop, I do not have commercial interests in the above. This is entirely and purely a public service message.
Thought provoking perspective on how success actually “is catalyst to failure”. It happens in 4 phase-
Phase 1: When we really have clarity of purpose, it leads to success. Phase 2: When we have success, it leads to more options and opportunities. Phase 3: When we have increased options and opportunities, it leads to diffused efforts. Phase 4: Diffused efforts undermine the very clarity that led to our success in the first place.
A no-brainer scientific study to remind me why I have been generally happy thus far in life without packing too much power in the organ called as the brain. When I think back, I really want to thank the good mad bunch that I call family and friends who gave me such a fantastic childhood.
“Close your eyes? Now try remembering display ads”. The arguments against display ads is pretty strong. But calling it a brand awareness black hole rings like a rhetoric. Throwing display ads out of the plan would be like throwing the baby out with the bath water. Display ads have delivered the goods at the fag end of the sales funnel, given the brand has proper fulfillment mechanism online. Would like to hear more on this from the other digital folks out there.
Nevertheless, a thought provoking piece by Gilad De Vries
